STRICTLY Come Dancing champion Bill Bailey left his Have I Got News For You co-stars in hysterics after an unfortunate mishap.

The comedian was hosting the latest edition of the popular BBC show when the mistake happened.

Known for his tongue-in-cheek look at the week News The panel discussion is known for its rather chaotic and upsetting moments.

Bill stepped into the role of presenter this week, but found himself falling out of character quite quickly when he crashed on air.

Amid the chaos as he walked around the set of the BBC One show with bagpipes, Bill returned to his chair but quickly ended up on the floor.

The star fell out of his seat as he leaned over to put down his bagpipes.

Suddenly both he and the chair were out of sight as he fell, while his co-stars gasped and quickly laughed at the embarrassing incident.

They laid their heads on the desk in front of them in amusement while Bill quickly stood up again.

He could be heard shouting to the laughing audience: “I’m fine, I’m fine!”

Bill then stood up to steady the chair again and joked, “It’s really good for you.” Health.”

The moment threw Bill off guard as he continued to laugh before looking around the studio and asking, “Yeah…what are we talking about?”

His comment caused renewed laughter on set before he continued with the show.

Fans were extremely impressed with Bill and his hosting duties as they took to X – formerly Twitter – to share their thoughts.
