fans of The Winchesters The last hope for a continuation of the series was banned on Friday with the search for a new home for the canceled ones supernatural prequel series. The show was one of several not renewed for a new season on The CW, but initially it was hoped it could be sold to another station or streamer. Now Jensen Ackles confirmed that won’t happen in a post thanking fans for their support of the short-lived series.
The Winchesters told the story of John and Mary, the parents of supernaturalThis is Dean and Sam Winchester. While the series obviously starred a younger version of the characters, Jensen Ackles reprized the role of Dean to open the story and add narration, as well as serving as the series’ executive producer. Although the series didn’t garner the ratings it would have saved, it didn’t receive bad reviews and was acclaimed by the fan base supernatural has built a loyal following during its short run.

There had been talk of a revival before supernatural, but whether that will happen when The CW severely restricts its script content, time will tell. For now, however, it seems like the history of the Winchester family has come to an end in all forms.
Jensen Ackles will return to screens as part of The Boys.
While The Winchesters won’t get a chance to fulfill his five-season plan Jensen Ackles will return to screens in another popular show; Prime video The young and he recently confirmed that he will appear in the show’s spin-off series.
