Suspect in Orange County DUI accident that killed 11-month-old has been released from prison

There are currently no criminal charges against 54-year-old Daniel Patrick Lenihan.
MISSION VIEJO, Calif. (KABC) — The suspect, who allegedly beat a family of three and killed their 11-month-old son after jumping over a curb while under the influence of drugs, has been released by authorities.
Officials say 54-year-old Daniel Patrick Lenihan was released on $0 bail after killing the Ohlwilers’ 11-month-old son Madden and leaving both of his parents with serious injuries.
Lenihan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter after he allegedly jumped a curb and hit the Ohlwilers in a neighborhood near Mission Viejo.
The parents injured in the accident have been identified as Kyle Ohlwiler, 34, and Hayley Ohlwiler, 31, of Rancho Santa Margarita.
So far, no criminal charges have been filed against Lenihan.
A GoFundMe was formed to support the Ohlwilers.
