Target car seat trade-in dates 2022: Target to offer a 20% discount coupon when the car seat trade-in program returns

Chin up parents! Target’s popular car seat trade-in program returns.

Customers who give in their old car seats will receive a 20% discount voucher. According to Target, the coupon can be used toward a new car seat, stroller, or select baby gear.

This is how it works:

• Bring an old car seat or base to a Target store and toss it in the store’s designated box.

• Sign in to the Target app to scan the code on the box. Speak to a Target guest services representative if you need assistance.

• Find the offer in the Baby category.

• Click the red “+” to save the offer and order online, or scan your barcode at checkout.

The dates for this year’s event are September 11-24. According to Target, 29.6 million pounds of car seat material has been recycled to date.
