This meant personalizing her tour bus and making the experience as comfortable as possible for herself and her mother who was accompanying her. In an interview with Dateline, the Amsterdam The actress explained how her success led to her having a fuller travel experience.

“My mom rides with me on this bus,” Swift shared. “For the first two years I was on a bus with my band and crew and it was really packed and thanks to the great year it went we were able to expand it and had a little space.”

Having more space on her tour bus allowed Swift to incorporate design details that would give her a sense of peace. She personally helped design elements of her tour bus while also recording hits like “You Belong With Me,” “Love Story,” and “Hey Stephen.”

“Yes, completely,” Swift replied when asked if she personally designed her entire tour bus. “That was while I was working on my second album, so while I was leaving the studio I went to the bus station and helped them design it. It has a fireplace.”
What other details made the tour bus special for Swift?
Swift called the vehicle “the girliest bus ever” and shared some of the personal touches that made her tour bus special. A big one was a nod to her favorite number of all time, which she used to create a little ritual. “It’s my lucky number, 13, and I put it on the door because I touch it every night before I go on stage,” Swift explained.
And there was one more mundane detail that particularly excited Swift. She loved that her room on her tour bus had a TV. “I’m so excited because I’ve never had a TV in my room before until I got this bus,” she shared. Swift has been open about the fact that she loved relaxing on TV shows after a concert. Your show of choice? friends. Obviously, Swift found a way to make her tour bus feel like home.
