Tecno Phantom V Flip has reportedly been spotted in the Google Play Console listing and could run on the Dimensity 1300 SoC

The launch of the Tecno Phantom V Flip could be very soon. The subsidiary of Transsion Holdings has not yet confirmed the official launch date of the smartphone, but the supposedly foldable clamshell phone with the model number AD11 is said to have appeared on the Google Play Console website in advance. The listing proposes MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC on the Tecno Phantom V Flip. It is expected to run on Android 13. Tecno’s foldable smartphone portfolio currently includes the Tecno Phantom V Fold, which was officially launched earlier this year.

A report from Pricebaba has revealed screenshots of the Tecno Phantom V Flip listing on the Google Play Console website. The screenshots show the model number AD11 for the device. The listing suggests 8GB of RAM and Android 13 operating system for the upcoming handset. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and an ARM Mali G77 GPU. The listing shows a Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,640 pixels and a pixel density of 480 ppi on the clamshell phone.

Additionally, the Google Play Console listing reportedly includes an official-looking image showing the Tecno Phantom V Flip with its punch-hole design and curved display.

So far, Tecno hasn’t mentioned anything about the existence of the Tecno Phantom V Flip. Previous leaks pointed to an October launch date for the device. It’s expected to come in Film White, Minimal Black, and Periwinkle Purple color options.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G is said to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED Full HD+ primary display and a 1.32-inch AMOLED outer panel with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. Previous reports have suggested that the handset will be powered by an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 8050 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

On the rear there will likely be a dual camera unit, including a 64-megapixel main rear sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G could get a 32-megapixel front camera. It’s likely to be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

Tecno currently has a foldable book-style Tecno Phantom V Fold in its portfolio. The handset was launched in India in April at a price of Rs. 88,888. The upcoming Tecno Phantom V Flip is expected to compete with devices like the Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Oppo Find N2 Flip and the Moto Razr 40.
