Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition was launched in India on Thursday. This is a special version of the same phone that was launched in India in March, a month after its launch at MWC 2023. The new version was launched to commemorate ISRO’s successful lunar mission Chandrayaan-3. As a reminder, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC. It houses a 50-megapixel dual camera with two LED flashes. The new version of the smartphone will be available for purchase starting next week, and pre-orders have already begun.

India became the fourth country to reach the lunar surface last month when its Chandrayaan-3 mission managed to land safely on the moon. In honor of this special achievement, the phone maker has announced the launch of the Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition price in India is Rs. 11,999 for the 16GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. It will be available from September 15th, with pre-orders open now. The smartphone will be available through both online stores and offline retail channels.

Specifications of Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition has similar specifications to the original model that was launched in India and global markets earlier this year. It features a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 270Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 SoC with 16GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It runs on Android 13-based HiOS 12.6.

It comes with a 50-megapixel dual camera while there is a 32-megapixel AI lens for selfies and video calls. According to the company, the Tecno Spark 10 Pro Moon Explorer Edition has a 5,000 mAh Li-Po battery that can charge up to 50 percent in just 40 minutes. The phone is said to offer a battery life of up to 27 days in standby mode.
