Teen Wolf Spinoff Series Probably After The Movie, Tyler Posey Would Return

Whether it was made official or not, the sequel to the teenage wolf Franchise feels inevitable.

Not only is the interest clearly there, hence the existence of Teen Wolf: The Moviebut the film itself also serves as a practical backdoor pilot for a next-gen spin-off centered around Eli (Vince Mattis), Beacon Hills’ newest teenage wolf.

What could be more compelling for the YA protagonists than a brooding teenager with dad issues (RIP, Derek Hale!), a mysterious missing mother, and newly acquired powers to master? The fact that he can use Stiles’ Jeep as a getaway car is just the icing on the cake of this supernatural sundae.

teenage wolf Creator Jeff Davis tells TVLine he hasn’t made a decision on a possible continuation of the series just yet, but that doesn’t mean we should rule out the possibility. “Whether there are more stories to tell in my head remains to be seen,” he says. “Maybe I could find some new writers who have interesting stories and I could just see everything.”

For what it’s worth, OG teen wolf Tyler Posey would be downstairs to guide Derek’s son on his journey to finding out who Scott McCall is as an adult.

“Of course I would like to do more teenage wolf‘ Posey tells TVLine. “We still haven’t seen these characters as adults. This movie is maybe two days in the world of teenage wolf, and they ran into this mess all the time. You never just see them together as adults.”

Crystal Reed is also dying to spend more time in Allison’s skin, especially now that she and Scott have reconnected.

“Absolutely,” she says of the possibility of moving on teenage wolf. “I think werewolf babies are fine.”
