Playing exclusively with The Newlywed Game Us weeklythe couple spoke about important milestones – including who said “I love you” first.
“I think I did. And it was more like, I think I’m falling in love with you. It was maybe after about four months – and we were together through COVID. It was like a dog year, we spent a lot of time together recalls Ruelas, 49. “It was actually really valuable time that could take years in a relationship that’s formed in the beginning.”

For her part, Giudice, 50, gushed over the sweet gift she received three months into her relationship with Ruelas.
“He gave me a gift and [my] Girl a gift with cards,” the Bravo star, who shares daughters Gia, 22, Gabriella, 18, Milania, 17, and Audriana, 13, with his ex-husband Joe Giudice called. For his part, the businessman added: “I just [wrote about] my intentions to the girls and Teresa. Basically, it’s about letting them know that this is actually real. Were here. We’re going to push that — and we haven’t talked about marriage at this point. We just took our relationship seriously.”
Us The reality star and Ruelas were originally confirmed to be dating in November 2020, two months after Teresa and Joe finalized their divorce. The couple later revealed they had been dating for three months.

In October 2021, Teresa revealed that Ruelas had proposed to her during a trip to Greece. Less than a year later, the duo tied the knot in New Jersey and cameras captured their special day RHONJ special.
The cookbook author noted that her favorite part of her wedding day was walking down the aisle to her now-husband’s. “The whole thing was so beautiful – when I first saw his face – I was just relieved,” Teresa explained. “I was really nervous and then when I saw him I just calmed down and felt like my parents were really going to walk me down the aisle. I really did. I went alone and felt like they were right next to me, so happy.”
Ruelas, on the other hand, agreed with the highlight of the wedding, adding: “My best moment was also leaving the house. Then I watched Teresa walk out and her power and strength alone. She didn’t need anyone to lead her to the altar. That was my favorite part of the wedding. Then she approached me and we had the opportunity to say our vows and that was beautiful. That was a moment.”
Teresa is getting married will air Tuesday, May 23 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
