Texas leads gun company job creation in 2021, California a close second

Texas and California ranked first and second nationally for how many gun manufacturing jobs they created in the past year, according to the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s latest impact report.

The report comes as the two states are on opposite ends of the gun control spectrum, with California having the most restrictive gun laws in the country and Texas some of the most lenient laws, according to the World Population Review.
