Thanksgiving shuttle scheduled to begin in SoCal

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Thanksgiving travelers are expected to take to the streets on Tuesday, blocking Southern California’s freeways ahead of the holiday.

Despite high fuel prices, a record number of drivers could travel this Thanksgiving, experts said.

“As millions of people head to Thanksgiving, the CHP prepares for one of the busiest travel weekends in the nation,” CHP Commissioner Amanda Ray said in a statement Monday.
