If you follow the news then you probably already know that the last 24 hours have been an absolute whirlwind for the boxer-turned-internet-personality Andrew Tate. Following the 36-year-old former kickboxer’s arrest in Romania amid recent human trafficking charges, other netizens have already started preparations for the upcoming Andrew Tate film – which has already got some interesting names attached.
Over on Twitter where most people are talking about Tate’s inscrutable online encounter with the climate activist Greta Thunberg, one user jokingly shared the possibilities of a possible Tate film in the future. In the tweet, user @MediumSizeMeech insisted Thunberg could easily be portrayed by the Marvel superstar Florence Pugh, while The Northman star could portray Alexander Skarsgård Tate. And the icing on the cake would of course be A24 behind the production.
Given Pugh’s undeniable presence and divine popularity, having her name associated with an Andrew Tate-inspired film would surely cause moviegoers to flock to theaters in droves. And if Pugh’s out-of-this-world fashions were featured while portraying Thunberg, there’s absolutely no denying the film would be a sure hit that would garner a lot of attention.
Of course, only time can tell if a situation like this will ever be made into a movie – although Tate’s life certainly seems complicated enough to make it to the big screen in a disguised narrative. For now, be sure to check back here for more updates on Tate’s recent charges as they become available.
