The Bachelorette’s Clare Crawley Praises Bond With ‘Special’ Surrogate Mother
Clare Crawley and her husband Ryan DawkinsThey plan to visit their surrogate before the birth of their first baby – and the former Bachelorette already has a special bond with her.
“So we’re going to see our surrogate, who I just love. I feel like I’ve known her my entire life,” Crawley, 42, said in an Instagram Story video on Saturday, Aug. 26 while packing for the trip. “You and I are alike in many ways.”
Crawley explained that she and Dawkins, 47, are traveling to her surrogate to attend her baby’s 20-week ultrasound. “So grateful to have someone in our lives who is so special and who gives us the greatest gift ever,” she captioned her upload.
Crawley and Dawkins, who have two older daughters from a previous relationship, announced last month that they are expecting a baby.

“Our laundry will be even cuter in 2024,” he said Bachelors in paradise alum wrote via Instagram in July. “This is REALLY what my dreams are made of! I can’t tell you how hard it was to keep this secret!”
She added at the time, “This is a journey that Ryan and I hold dear as we have navigated the uncertain world of IVF and all that comes with it.” I can’t wait to see you soon to let you know how it was for us and until then we are so incredibly grateful to you [Dr. Aimee Eyvazzadeh] for miracles to happen!”

“For the last 10 years I’ve had the same dream over and over again,” she captioned an Instagram pic of her sex reveal. “The dreams were so vivid and real that my baby came into my life. All the nice details right down to gender and names. 🤍 So this special moment came as no surprise to me!”
Crawley and Dawkins enjoyed their babymoon earlier this month before returning home to prepare for the arrival of their little one. “I’m a little early because it helps me feel connected not carrying our baby,” she captioned a second Instagram Story post Saturday, showcasing her Nuna USA stroller and car seat. “I’ve waited my whole life for this and I can’t wait!”

Crawley – to whom he was briefly engaged Benoit Beauséjour-Savard in 2018 and Dale Moss in 2021 – started dating Dawkins in late 2021. The CEO of Mascot Sports proposed to him in October 2022.
“Everything in my world has changed since I met her. She is the love of my life and I wish the world knew the Klara that I know,” Dawkins said exclusively Us weekly by the time. “She is one of the strongest women I know and truly a light. The couple married in an intimate ceremony in February with their eldest daughters as best man.
