Starring in six films and a Christmas special, viewers around the world have loved the Guardians as if they were our own family. The Guardians constantly make us laugh and cry and are just in awe of them. They are easily one of the best superhero teams of all time.

10 Hunted by the Sovereign – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
The dog fights in Protector of the Galaxy Movies are at the top with the brilliant dog fights war of stars. Each scene is exciting, visually stunning and boasts impressively creative action. But the best dogfight scene comes as the Guardians are pursued by the Sovereign after Rocket stole their Anulax batteries.
In the scene, Quill and Rocket argue over who is the captain, Drax shoots himself out of the ship’s stern and shoots the last Sovereign ship dead, and introduces the audience and guards to Ego, who saves her skin. The Sovereign RC ships are incredibly cool and feature nostalgic video game sound effects that are heavily reminiscent of video games Space Invaders. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the scene, however, is the quantum asteroid field, which teleports the floating asteroids in random directions.
9 Confrontation with Thanos – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
Thanos was an extremely important figure in the Guardians’ journey, largely because Gamora is Thanos’ adoptive father. So clean infinity war, the Guardians eventually confront Thanos on Knowhere to retrieve the Reality Stone from the Collector. The Guardians thought they had surrounded and defeated Thanos, but that was just an illusion of the Reality Stone and it quickly turned out that the Guardians were too late and Thanos had already destroyed Nowhere and taken the Reality Stone for himself.
8th Meeting Thor – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
One of the most exciting aspects of infinity war was to see our favorite heroes interacting with each other. Case in point when Thor meets the Guardians of the Galaxy. The whole The scene is heartbreaking From the very first second, Star-Lord tries to keep up with Thor’s large stature and manhood while the rest of the Wardens look on and laugh. The scene depicts the future of the Guardians and Thor together, which is briefly explored Thor: Love and Thunder; one of the better aspects of this film.
7 Yondu’s Funeral – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Yondu’s sacrifice is one of the most emotional moments in the entire MCU. While it’s certainly not one of the Guardians’ happiest moments, it is certainly one of their most important as they all come together to mourn the loss of one of their loved ones. The scene is beautiful, emotional and deeply evocative, which is only enhanced by the breathtaking fireworks display; a Ravager tradition after her death.
6 Furnace Break – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
When the Guardians break out of maximum security prison, The Kiln, it’s the first moment they all work together as a team. The action is thrilling as Rocket launches hordes of drones while riding Groot’s back, and Drax rips apart drones and pummels dozens of guards, all with smiles on their faces and hysterical laughter. Gamora flaunts her skills as a deadly assassin while Peter haggles with some to buy their leg. This scene really showcases the team’s skills and when we hear the Guardians’ score for the first time, everyone will get goosebumps.
5 Meeting the Avengers – Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
infinity war gave the Guardians another great team with Iron Man, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. This unusual but brilliant pairing led to a truly hilarious dynamic. Most notably, when the Guardians attacked the three Avengers for thinking they were dating Thanos, which ended in a genius back-and-forth about Gamora’s whereabouts, leading to Drax blurting out, “Why is Gamora?”
It takes the six a while to come together, but when they finally come up with a plan to defeat Thanos, and while the six supremely powerful heroes give Thanos everything they have, Thanos still walks away with just a drop of blood.
4 Destroying the Planet of Ego – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 is a visual marvel, offering bigger and better action scenes than its predecessor. The best example is the extended Guardian team’s attempt to defeat a giant sky planet. In addition, the Guardians must once again defend themselves against the Sovereign. Peter uses his celestial power to distract Ego’s physical form with a giant Pac-Man while Baby Groot attempts to blast a hole through Ego’s core. The music ramps up as the Guardians get their Avengers-esque circle moment.
As stunning and exciting as this scene is, it ends on a dark note as Yondu sacrifices himself to save his adopted son, Quill. It tears us apart just thinking about it.
3 We are Groot! – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Groot is a lovable and utterly lovable member of the Guardians who captured our hearts from the first second on screen. So his death was incredibly emotional. The first Protector of the Galaxy In the film, the Guardians were constantly bickering and rarely hugged as a team, but it was Groot’s devastating sacrifice and exclamation of “We are Groot!” that really cemented the Guardians as a real team.
2 “Let’s Dance Brother!” – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Typically, superhero movies suffer from this same generic third act. The hero will fight someone of exactly the same power in an uninspired battle and end up saving the day. Guardian one, however, offered a unique, interesting, and hilarious final battle against Ronan the Accuser.
When Ronan is about to destroy Xandar after a terrible speech, Peter Quill gets up and starts dancing while singing “Ooh Child”. Ronan’s confused expression is priceless, as is Quill throwing the dance over to Gamora, which she obviously refuses. After a short time it is revealed that Quill was only distracting Ronan so Rocket could rebuild his Hadron Enforcer so Drax could shoot Ronan’s gun and unleash the Power Stone.
1 Hallway Battle Scene – Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023)
The sheer volume of impeccable hallway fight scenes is drastically large. Everyone is impressive in their own way Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 offered one of the best. We’ve seen the Guardians team up and battle each other many times before, but seeing the team brutally defeat an army of the High Evolutionary’s henchmen all at once is nothing short of phenomenal. James Gunn really outdid himself with this absolutely rousing, four-minute scene from the Beastie Boys’ “No Sleep Till Brooklyn.”
