The Bold and the Beautiful: Patrick Duffy returns as Stephen Logan

Patrick Duffy returns The bold and the beautiful for a meet-the-girlfriend family reunion.

Beginning with the Nov. 23 CBS soap opera, Duffy will reprise his role as Logan family patriarch Stephen Logan, which he played from 2006 to 2011. Dad will be paying a surprise visit to his daughters Brooke, Donna and Katie when he introduces them to his new girlfriend Lucy (portrayed by Duffy’s real love, The office alumna Linda Purl). “Stephen soon learns of Brooke and Ridge’s marital troubles and offers his support,” reads the official synopsis.

* The 45th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, honoring George Clooney, Amy Grant, Gladys Knight, Tania León and U2, will air Wednesday, December 28 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
