The Call of Duty Modern Warfare II release date has been announced

Another game mode called DMZ mode will also be included in the game. This DMZ mode is said to be inspired by games like Escape From Tarkov. In addition, DMZ mode may offer a light battle royale mode where you can collect weapons. Also, if you are killed, you will lose all progress on your equipment. Additionally, this mode will replace the popular Spec Ops mode that was a staple of the Modern Warfare franchise. Details of in-game skill-based matchmaking (SBMM) were also revealed.

With Modern Warfare II’s release date set, fans won’t have to wait much longer. Alpha testing is currently scheduled for August. In addition, the alpha tests will include the popular Gunfight: a four-player, two-vs-two mode.
