The dispute leads to a deadly shootout in Dade City

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — A dispute led to a deadly shooting in Dade City Tuesday night, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said.

Officers said they were called to Oak Street around 7:50 p.m

According to investigators, a dispute between two men escalated into a fight.

The fight resulted in one of the men being fatally shot.

Officials said the gunman remained at the scene.

The sheriff’s office said the incident was isolated and there was no threat to public safety.
