The Flash director Andy Muschietti is reportedly involved in directing Batman Reboot for DCU
After weeks of rumours, this seems to have been confirmed The Lightning Director Andy Muschietti will return to the DCU to direct the upcoming film Batman Movie, The brave and the brave. While official confirmation is still pending, One Take News has reportedly “confirmed with multiple sources” that Muschietti will direct the latest reboot of The Dark Knight, a move that’s been touted by both the filmmaker himself and DC Studios co-head James Gunn.

Before exploring the relationship between Batman and his son, director Andy Muschietti will first look at two versions of The Caped Crusader The Lightning. Worlds will collide The Lightning when the superhero uses his powers to travel back in time and change the events of the past. When his attempt to save his family inadvertently changes the future, he is drawn into a reality where General Zod has returned and threatens annihilation. With no other superheroes to turn to, Flash tries to coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian – if not the one he’s looking for.
The Lightning will bring back both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as alternate versions of Batman, with Ezra Miller taking on the role of Barry Allen aka The Flash alongside Sasha Calle as Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl, Michael Shannon as General Zod, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West and Antje Traue as Faora-Ul, with the film also promising plenty of audience-friendly cameo appearances.
After years of delays The Lightning The US release is now scheduled for June 16th.
