The greatest Harry Styles Grammy moments

Harry Styles is one of the biggest pop stars in the world and tonight all eyes were on him Grammy 2023 awards. The “As it Was” singer won his first Grammy as a solo artist in 2021 for Best Pop Solo Performance for his song “Watermelon Sugar” from his second album fine line. With six nominations this year, we knew the night would have plenty of Harry moments that were sure to shock and entertain viewers (and yes, we’re getting to the most shocking moment of them all).
Styles started the night in a polarizing outfit, as the singer is fond of, and drew criticism from many on social media. We’ve gotten used to Styles wearing some wild stuff over the years, but this is objectively one of his worst outfits to wear to a red carpet, and the criticism feels justified.
After being tugged at for his clothing choice, Styles switched to a safer fashion choice and won his first prize of the night. The singer was named Pop Vocal Album of the Year for his latest album Harry’s house.
Harry then proceeded to perform his hit single “As it Was” in a very sparkling disco-inspired ensemble. The performance was suitably celebratory, complete with a revolving stage and enthusiastic back-up dancers.
He was then approached by presenter Trevor Noah, who was trying to get a guest spot on Styles’ next tour despite not being a musician. Noah was very serious, but Styles finally dismissed him firmly but politely. The moment of fun would prove to be the calm before the storm as the biggest award of the night would soon be announced.
The night ended on a high for Styles as he found himself the winner of the most coveted Grammy, Album of the Year. Styles (and one adorable fan) were happy to win, but they might be the only ones. Many viewers expected Beyoncé to win the award for her album Renaissance especially after she made history earlier that night and became the most Grammy-winning artist in history. While the legendary singer has won many Grammy awards throughout her career, she is yet to win Album of the Year and was last nominated for the award in 2016 before famously losing to Adele.
While some believe Harry deserved his win for Album of the Year, many viewers are upset that Beyoncé was once again overlooked for that coveted award. Both Harry’s house And Renaissance are great albums and it’s obvious that Styles works hard on his music. But it’s understandable that the bey-hive is upset that its queen has lost the award for another year.
