The Louisiana toddler got an onion as a prank gift for Christmas – and he absolutely loved it

LOUISIANA (KABC) — There was no crying when a toddler in Louisiana received a prank as a Christmas present.

Little Wesley’s mum said the boy was really looking forward to Christmas and thought it would be funny if he opened a gag gift.

The gift? An onion!

As it turned out, Wesley was just too grateful for such a prank.

Video obtained by Eyewitness News shows the little boy’s excitement as he unwraps the unlikely gift. “Yeah! An onion!” he said.

His mother said he actually continued to play with the onion for the next few days.

“He’s such a grateful, loving kid,” the mother told Storyful. “We are blessed.”
