The Love Island UK legend signs up for the Australian version of the show, arriving TODAY

LOVE Island legend Lucinda Strafford is heading down under to take part in the Australian version of the dating show.

The blue-eyed bombshell, 23, didn’t find love on season seven in 2021, despite making connections with Brad McClelland and Aaron Francis.

So Lucinda is hoping for better luck as she becomes the first British export ever to sign up for the new Australian line-up as a surprise addition to the inaugural line-up.

It came after two Oz legends flew around the world to take part in our show – Jessie Wynter and Aaron Waters in January winter Love Island in Cape Town.

A source said: “Lucinda is a true Love Island legend so everyone is really looking forward to more viewers being able to enjoy her special brand of silly banter – who can say her ‘Really?’ forget? Catchphrase?

“She’s so stunning, she was a real hit with the boys in the Mallorca villa, so no doubt Lucinda will turn the heads of the Australian boys too.”

“Of course, people all over the world watch the global versions of Love Island, so it’s likely the cast knows exactly who she is – and knows she knows how to play the game – which always causes excitement .

“Lucinda is so excited about the transplant.”

Lucinda, 23, from Brighton arrived at the British villa like a bomb alongside Millie Court and then formed the “cheeky trio” with Millie and. Chloe Caves.

But outwardly she caused a stir when she claimed she had a secret boyfriend all along – who even looked after her dog while she was in the ITV villa.

The new season premieres in Australia next week on October 30 on Channel 9 and will be available in the UK on ITVBe and ITVX later this year.

Meanwhile, we can expect more Love Island legends, including Curtis Pritchard and Chloe’s ex Toby Aromolaran, to appear in US spin-off Love Island Games.

This hits screens in America on November 1st.

Our All Stars version will begin filming in January next year with Chloe Burrows in the mix.
