The Make a Wish Foundation grants a Columbus teenager a Disney wish

COLUMBUS (WRBL) – Chloe White was diagnosed with autism and epilepsy when she was just 18 months old. The life-changing diagnosis left Chloe speechless. Her mother, Rebekah White, had no idea where the family would go from there.

But back in 2019, Chloe expressed her desire to go to Disney World. But unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic has prevented this so far.

It is common for Make a Wish recipients to celebrate the fulfillment of their wish with a party. Chloe and her parents wanted to make sure all of their classmates were included. On Friday, August 18, Chloe celebrated with all her classmates in the Blue Room at Double Churches Middle School with cupcakes, face painting, a bouncy castle and many other festivities.

Rebekah White also wants to help any other parent struggling with a disabled child and has set up an email address for anyone interested in assistance: Autismjourney.georgia@gmail.com.
