Bethesda and Arkane Studios have released a major update for their open-world co-op FPS. Redfall.
The second update for Redfall includes Performance Mode for Xbox Series
Updates listed in the patch notes include improved PC performance and stability across multiple hardware configurations, elimination of edge case memory crashes, fixing a graphical corruption issue when changing resolution on AMD GPUs, and an issue resetting game settings to their default values while displaying windows on a second monitor has been fixed.
The update also hides the anti-aliasing setting in the video settings while upscaling is enabled with AMD FSR 2.1, and you can expect performance improvements to hero abilities, weapons and general game systems. Fixes have been made to help hero abilities trigger properly despite environmental factors such as ladders, death fog, electrocution, and more, and improvements have been made to player navigation and collision in both Redfall Commons and Burial Point.
Various changes have been made to the interface, a variety of accessibility options and improvements have been added, and you can expect numerous gameplay changes and adjustments to the combat, environment and multiplayer mode.
The inclusion of 60fps performance mode on Xbox Series
The other gameplay improvements included in the update are also welcome as they make the game more challenging and rewarding.
Overall, the update is positive as it fixes some of the game’s biggest issues and makes it a better gaming experience overall.
