The rumored ‘The Batman 2’ villain is making fans wish they’d pick someone else instead

With December just around the corner, flashbacks to 2022 are rolling with many names The Batman as their Superhero Movie of the Year. The March release was a critical and financial hit, introducing the world to Matt Reeves’ dirty and wet take on Gotham City and Robert Pattinson’s tortured Bruce Wayne/Batman.

All of this meant it didn’t come as a huge surprise when Warner Bros confirmed it in April The Batman2 was in development. Pattinson and Reeves have said they would like to portray the Robin of this universe and have expressed an interest in villains like Court of Owls, Calendar Man and Mr. Freeze.

But now rumors are piling up that Hush will be the villain at the top, and fans aren’t exactly thrilled:

Hush first appeared as a mysterious character in 2003 and was eventually revealed to be Tommy Elliot, a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne who harbored a grudge against him. A gifted surgeon, a skilled marksman, he has a brilliant intellect and tactical skills to rival the Dark Knight himself.

But is Hush really the best choice when Batman’s villain gallery has so many heavyweights?

We have to agree:

Give us a great Mr. Freeze on screen right now!

Maybe he could act as a supporting character?

It’s worth remembering that this is just a rumor, although it seems clear that Reeves and Pattinson are at least interested in the character. If so, this wouldn’t be the first live-action hush. He showed up Gotham and in Batwoman played by various actors, but didn’t exactly set the world on fire.

Fingers crossed this rumor is exactly that, because a guy with bandages on his face and some handguns is a pretty unimaginative villain compared to the likes of Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow. The rumored ‘The Batman 2’ villain is making fans wish they’d pick someone else instead
