The trailer for the third season of American Horror Stories brings four new spooky stories for Halloween

A spin-off of the hit anthology series American Horror Story, American Horror Stories – Plural – features standalone anthology episodes as opposed to season-long storylines. American Horror Stories has already seen two seasons on Hulu and will soon get a third season on October 26th. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for FX on Hulu, this series premiered back in July 2021, with the upcoming third season being the first release for Halloween.

FX Networks has released a trailer for the third season of American Horror Stories, packed with spooky images and hints of four new stories. The third season of American Horror Stories will premiere as part of Hulu’s Huluween event. Check out the trailer below.

FX has released brief synopses for each episode as well as the cast and crew involved:

  • “Bestie” – After losing her mother, a young woman seeks contact with a mysterious online friend. Written by Joe Baken. Director: Max Winkler. Cast: Emma Halleen, Seth Gabel, Jessica Barden, Seth Gabel, Jeff Hiller, Amrou Al-Kadhi and more.
  • “Daphne” – An intelligent device with artificial intelligence grows into its user. Written by Brad Falchuk and Manny Coto. Directed by Elegance Bratton. Cast: Reid Scott, Annie Hamilton, Allegra Heart, Christopher Fitzgerald and more.
  • “Tapeworm” – An aspiring model stops at nothing in her hunger for success. Written by Joe Baken. Directed by Alexis Martin Woodall. Cast: Laura Kariuki, Hazel Graye, Lisa Rinna, Rob Yang and more.
  • “Organ” – A blind date on an online dating app goes completely wrong. Written by Manny Coto. Director: Petra Collins. Cast: Raúl Castillo, Emily Browning, Laila Robins, Havana Rose Liu, Cameron Cowperthwaite and more.

The first two seasons of American Horror Stories received mixed reviews, so it might come as a surprise to fans that Murphy and Falchuck brought the series back for a third time. All four episodes will be released at the same time, so you can watch them to get even more into the Halloween spirit.
