This could be the reason why Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account

On March 16, fans noticed that Britney Spears’ Instagram account was shut down, leaving millions of followers confused.

“Where’s #BritneySpears’ Instagram gone again?!” one fan asked on Twitter.

According to TMZ, Instagram said they didn’t delete Spears’ account for violations. The pop singer had over 40 million followers on the social media platform with over 2,000 pictures. Her other social media pages, including Twitter and Facebook, are still visible, although her activity on both sides has waned in recent weeks.

On Instagram, Spears has posted a variety of photos for her fans, including dance videos, selfies, and relaxing snaps on the beach. Her decision to leave the social media platform came suddenly. She may have deactivated her own Instagram account to pause her social media use for a while.

A fan on Twitter pointed out, “She probably needs a break from social media. You all need to remember that Britney is trying to heal from over a decade of trauma. Sometimes she needs a break from everything including Instagram and all social media. I’m sure she will come back. She’s done this before.”

In September 2021, the “Baby One More Time” singer took down her Instagram page to celebrate her relationship with Sam Asghari.

“Don’t worry guys…I’m just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement!!!! I’ll be back soon,” she tweeted to her 55 million Twitter followers. She received over 178,000 likes for this post alone.

On November 12, 2021, Britney Spears was finally freed from her 14-year-old conservatory by father James Spears after a long struggle to keep her freedom. She took to social media to share a video of her fans celebrating the win.

“Good god I love my fans so much it’s insane!!! I think I’m going to cry the rest of the day!!!! Best day ever… Praise be to the Lord… can I one Got amen??? ? #FreedBritney,” she wrote.

Spears has also previously stated that she will need time to heal from what she has thoroughly said: “I’m grateful for this but I still need a lot of healing too!!!! Not therapy…but the kind of healing that is comes from within!!!! I have hope and intention to do my best….Period!!!!”

Since her release, the mogul has spoken out against her family, along with a public feud with sister Jamie Lynn. Spears recently accused her sister of lying in a new book. Things I should have said.
