Fortnite: Chapter 4 has officially launched and with it a whole new Battle Pass with lots of skins to boot.
While most skins are Fourteen days Originals continues to expand the metaverse of the popular battle royale game with two familiar faces from other franchises, one of whom is none other than The Witcher himself, Geralt of Rivia.
While the White Wolf is not readily available to hack and slash its way Fortnite’s Not a fresh new island yet, Geralt is visible as a bonus skin on the Season 1 Battle Pass. Geralt’s journey from the continent will take a little over two months, then he’ll be ready to go.
The other familiar face – and one that might feel a little more at home in a hard-hitting battle royale scenario – is the legendary Doom Guy, where players only need to work through five pages of the Battle Pass to unlock the Doomslayer Skin to unlock as well as a Cacodemon glider to boot.
This certainly isn’t the first time Geralt has jumped into another game universe where the silver-haired monster hunter is a playable fighter Soul Calibur 6.
Outside of the Netflix TV show, which recently made waves with the infamous recast of Henry Cavill in the title role, Geralt’s presence in gaming has been somewhat muted in recent years since the phenomenon’s release in 2015 The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
That’s quickly changing, however, with the upcoming release of the next-gen port of the game, a complete remake of the first witcher game and of course Geralt’s foray into the world of Fourteen days.
