Tiffany Haddish says she lost all of her performances following a child molestation lawsuit

Following a notice of termination filed by the plaintiffs in a lawsuit alleging harassment allegations against comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears, Haddish says the lawsuit cost her her job.

The “Girls Trip” star spoke to TMZ about the fallout after she and Spears were accused of “grooming and molesting” two then-underage siblings years ago, in a lawsuit originally filed in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this month became.

“I lost everything,” she told a TMZ photographer while being questioned at LAX on Wednesday. “All my gigs are gone.”

The complainants were referred to in the lawsuit as “Jane Doe” and “John Doe,” who said their names were being withheld to protect their privacy.

According to the complaint, which CNN obtained a copy of, “Jane Doe” and “John Doe” were 14 and 7 years old, respectively, when Haddish and Spears allegedly let them participate in sexually suggestive videos in separate incidents in 2013 and 2014 .

The two are siblings and Haddish was a “longtime family friend” of her mother. The incidents allegedly happened while Haddish was allegedly trying to help the youngsters get into show business, according to the lawsuit.

At the time the lawsuit was filed, an attorney for Haddish said in a statement to CNN that the plaintiff’s mother “has been attempting to bring these false allegations against Ms. Haddish for several years.”

“Every lawyer who initially took her case – and there were several – eventually dropped the matter when it became clear that the claims were unfounded and Ms Haddish would not be shaken,” the statement said, adding that the mother “represented her adult daughter in this court case.

Jane Doe filed a resignation Tuesday and the case was dismissed with prejudice, based on documents provided to CNN by a Haddish representative. Dismissal with prejudice means the case cannot be refiled.

“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years — and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” Doe said in a statement to TMZ. “We wish Tiffany well and are glad we can put this all behind us.”

CNN has reached out to Jane Doe for comment.

Haddish and Spears’ attorneys have not responded to CNN’s requests for comment.

When asked by TMZ if she thought the layoff would help her, Haddish replied, “I don’t know bro. I have no job.”

In a separate TMZ video, the actress said she was “concerned about the kids and making sure they’re okay,” adding that she was “relieved” that the lawsuit was dropped and isn’t speaking to Spears.
