Top Gun: Maverick breaks Paramount+ record for film premiere

Top Gun: Maverick has continued its winning streak in 2022. Already this year’s theatrical release No. 1 (with a worldwide gross of 1.48 billion US dollars) The blockbuster sequel is the best-selling digital release of all time and is now the most-watched film worldwide, with premiere streaming this weekend on Paramount+ (December 22-25).

Included loner surpassed the previous record of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 by around 60 percent. The film’s success also boosted streaming viewership in the original top gun Film by nearly 400 percent while Tom Cruise’s Impossible Mission Franchise listings enjoyed a 140 percent increase.
