Traffic Rampage: A growing number of people are coming forward with reports of traffic incidents across SoCal involving the same man

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — As police continue their search for a driver believed to be at the center of multiple traffic incidents in Southern California, a growing number of people are coming forward claiming they were victims of the frightening assaults that were caught on camera.

Eyewitness News received a call overnight from a woman who said she had an encounter with the same suspect with her 93-year-old mother in West Hollywood in June.

The woman, who asked not to be identified, shared photos showing the suspect and a valet driver engaging in a physical altercation.

“The Tesla went into oncoming traffic,” the woman later told Eyewitness News. “We confronted each other and I said to him, ‘You can do this, just go slow.’ And immediately he went into some kind of psycho mode and started yelling and waving.”

She said the Tesla driver got out of his car, threw a soda can at them, and then got back in his car.

A valet attendant nearby tried to calm down the Tesla driver but was punched in the face instead, the woman said.

“Boom! He just smacks him in the face,” she said.

In surveillance video showing the fight, the Tesla driver throws something at the valet. Then it gets physical.

“I pull out my phone and start taking some pictures. I’m trying to withdraw. You’re coming in,” said the woman.

The Tesla driver backs up and is visibly upset before driving off.

The woman said she has lodged a complaint with the police but still fears for her safety.

So far, Eyewitness News has counted 10 such incidents involving the same man.

Everyone who has reached out has reported experiencing similar things: being harassed, even stalked, by a man in a dark Tesla.

The latest incident happened on Wednesday, but a growing number of people have come forward to say they were also assaulted by the same man.

“I really had a feeling he was going to either break my windows or pull me out,” another victim, who asked not to be identified, told Eyewitness News.

Another woman said she got a black eye after being attacked by the man in a Santa Anita Mall parking lot in Arcadia in October 2021. She filed a police report with the police.

All drivers have lodged complaints with law enforcement agencies. The incidents have taken place across Southern California, so various authorities are investigating.
