Trump shares medical opinion on Biden’s birthday

President Joe Biden, the oldest president in US history, turned 81 on Monday. And that same day, former President Donald Trump, who is currently 77 years old, shared one note in which his personal physician Bruce Aronwald said that Trump was in “excellent health.”

“As of 2021, I have been President Donald J. Trump’s personal physician. During this time, I have conducted several comprehensive examinations, most recently on September 13, 2023, and supervised specialist consultations and additional tests for screening and preventive health maintenance.” wrote Aronwald.

“I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. His physical exams were well within normal ranges and his cognitive exams were exceptional. Previous testing of some of the most important parameters, most likely secondary to weight loss.

“Cardiovascular exams are all normal and cancer screening tests are all negative. President Trump has reduced his weight through improved diet and continued daily physical activity while maintaining a strict schedule. I believe President Trump is currently in excellent health, and “With his continued interest in preventative health monitoring and maintenance, he will continue to lead a healthy, active lifestyle for years to come,” Aronwald noted.

Trump and Biden are both edging out their respective primary rivals in polls and therefore appear poised to handily win their respective parties’ 2024 presidential nominations next year.

Biden would be 86 at the end of a second term, while Trump would be 82.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott approved Trump becomes president on Sunday. Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds endorsed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for president earlier this month.
