In the latest ratings of TV shows, sitcoms from CBS and NBCs law & order Trio ended up in a seven-way tie for Thursday’s demo win while Young Sheldon drew the largest audience of the evening.
Young Sheldon returned to 6.6 million total viewers and a demo rating of 0.5 (TVLine reader rating “A-“), slightly below its previous averages. Now with a stronger lead-in, ghosts (6.2 million/0.5, reader’s grade “A”) improved over the average freshman audience, while in the demo it fell by only a tenth.
So help me Todd (4.7 mil/0.3, Reader’s Rating “B+”) started a little low in the demo, but is technically the most watched regularly scheduled launch of the fall; 88 percent of TVLine samplers plan to stick with it. The one who moved CSI: Vegas (3.1 mil/0.3) returned to series lows and also underperformed the timeslot predecessor bull‘s average (4.2 mil/0.3).
NBC’s law & order (4.3mil/0.5), CSR (4.5mil/0.5) and OK (3.5 mil/0.5) were all lower than last week’s crossover episodes.
Over on Fox, Hell’s Kitchen (1.8 mil/0.3) was down spicy from its previous premiere around May 2021 and likely to hit series lows. Welcome to Flatch (886K/0.2) improved on its novice audience call me cat (1.24 mil/0.2) matched the series lows.
ABC’s celebrity bike drew 4 mils and a 0.5 followed by mumbo-jumbo‘ 2.8mil/0.5.
