Twitter account suspended after threatening tweet

A Twitter Account was suspended after implying that Libs of TikTok creator Chaya Raichik, conservative commentator Matt Walsh, Gays Against Groomers founder Jaimee Michell and YouTuber Tim Pool were in fear for their lives.

“Chaya Raichik, Tim Pool, Matt Walsh, Jaimee Michell and others have been way too comfortable lately. I personally think they should fear for their lives more,” tweeted an account by the name of @hoot_little, according to a screenshot.

Libraries of TikTok Posted a screenshot showing Greg Price retweeting the threatening post and asking Elon Musk if it “still violates Twitter’s terms of service to threaten people’s lives”?

Musk replied in the affirmative, tweet“Yes.”

Since taking over Twitter, Musk has restored a number of previously suspended accounts, the most notorious of which was former President Donald Trump’s account. Musk restored Trump’s account after releasing a Twitter poll — a majority of votes in the poll supported restoring the former president’s account.

Earlier this year, ahead of Twitter’s acquisition, Musk criticized the company’s move to ban Trump from the platform and said that he would reverse the ban if he owned Twitter. He also noted that he believes permanent bans should be very “rare” and reserved for targeting illegitimate accounts such as spam and scam accounts. Musk recently indicated that he won’t rehire Alex Jones, which it was permanently exposed from the social media platform in 2018.

Musk released a poll on Wednesday ask Whether Twitter should grant mass amnesty to banned accounts.

“Should Twitter offer a general amnesty to banned accounts provided they haven’t broken the law or engaged in egregious spam?” Musk asked. So far, Musk’s proposal has been supported by a majority.
