Each year the USPS publishes a new “love forever“Stamp issued one month before Valentine’s Day as part of the “First Day of Issue Ceremony”. For the 2023 season, USPS decided to have the stamp’s theme honor the cats and dogs that people love to give gifts to throughout the year and shower hugs.

These adorable stamps are sure to add a little whimsy to your Valentines, and are also great for use on letters and cards of the year,” the USPS said in a press release.

Animal lovers can choose between a puppy or a kitten leaning on a big red heart to send mail to their loved ones.

USPS held a dedication ceremony on January 19 at 11:00 am in an APA flysheet area! Parking spot. The popular non-profit Austin was chosen by the USPS for the unveiling because of the theme of the stamps.
