[VIDEO] Law and Order: SVU Rollins and Carisi married in season 24

Looks like Law and order: SVU‘s Kelli Giddish might ring some wedding bells on her way out the door.

A newly released promo for the Season 24 fall finale appears to feature Giddish’s Det. Amanda Rollins and Peter Scanavino’s Assistant District Attorney Sonny Carisi prepare for their wedding at the courthouse. As previously reported, the finale, aka Episode 9, will be Giddish’s finale CSR Consequence. (And as TVLine previously reported, the blonde detective will Not be killed during the hour.)

Footage from the fall finale, which aired after Thursday’s episode, begins with Carisi asking his girlfriend, “You haven’t told Liv yet, have you?” Later we see Rollins wearing a white dress, holding flowers and pretty looks happy. Then, as Olivia hugs her friend and co-worker, Fin teases the captain if she’s going to start crying. Det. Velasco is also there.

The episode airs Thursday, December 8th at 9/8c.

In August, Giddish confirmed rumors of her imminent departure after 12 years portraying Rollins. “Playing Rollins has been one of the greatest joys and privileges of my life,” she said in a statement. “I was very fortunate to be a part of it law & order family for 12 years. There’s just no other character on television like Rollins. She’s grown and changed, and so have I. I started on this show in my late 20s and I’m grateful to have been able to spend so many of the adult years of my life with Rollins.”
