Robyn, Harry and Mel go undercover to protect a superstar singer – played by a real life superstar singer – in Sunday The equalizer (CBS, 8/7c).

TVLine has an exclusive first look at The trio meets Misty, a celebrity portrayed by real-life Grammy Award-winning actress Kelly Rowland. As you will see in the clip, Robyn and her team pose as a film crew trying to help Misty announce her retirement.

Your real mission, however, is to find the culprit who wrote Misty a horrible fan letter.

Given Robyn’s track record, she and her colleagues are confident of cracking the case. The question is how soon will they blow their cover? Will the mad fan turn out to be someone in Misty’s life? And will the singer actually decide to leave the stage for good?

From the looks of the photos, viewers could get a performance from Rowland, which would be a treat. You can’t let the Destiny’s Child graduate play a singer and Not let her sing, right?

Rowland – who made headlines earlier this week for defending Chris Brown at the American Music Awards – is one of several famous faces we’ve spotted this season. Other guest stars included actress Gloria Reuben (HE and Cloak & Dagger), hip hop icon Big Daddy Kane and actor Malik Yoba (Undercover in New York).
