Meanwhile, Grainne Seoige takes on the role of “Cinnire Grá” – the “Captain of Love” – and keeps a watchful and expert eye on the singles.

The 10 singles taking part in the show will be put through their paces to learn Irish and find love.

Contestants split their time between flirting and foclóir, with the ultimate goal of being crowned “Couple with the Most Focail” and winning €10,000.

During tonight’s episode, the couples continued to learn Irish while also getting to know each other.

Talia and Zak got off to a rocky start, but after a challenge where they had to put up a tent in the shortest amount of time, they bonded even more.

They won the challenge and were allowed to go on a date together where they went glamping.

The couple was enjoying some quality time outside the house, but they were given an ultimatum where they had to break up two of the couples.

At the end of the episode, Grainne appeared where she brought another couple onto the stage.

She decided that Sean and Megan should be sent home, which broke the hearts of all the contestants.

Virgin Media viewers flocked to X to share their thoughts on tonight’s episode.

Anthony commented: “All hail the absolute joy that is Grá ar an Trá. Has Irish ever sounded sexy?”

“The much-needed relief that a crappy day always calls for. Bravo to @grainne_seoige, @siomhanir, @JamesKavanagh_ and the dates. Never fails to entertain wildly….. #GráaranTrá.”

Ciara said: “Absolutely furious that Sean and Megan are now away from Grá Ar An Trá, if Saoirse and Femi don’t win I won’t be watching anymore.”

One viewer wrote: “I’m devastated that Megan and Sean are going home for the weekend. I was really hoping they would win. Sean was my favorite.”

While Kia also said: “Grá ar an Trá is the only thing getting me through October.”
