Virginia student charged with allegedly sexually assaulting and raping two classmates

A high school student in Falls Church, Virginia, has been arrested and charged after allegedly sexually assaulting and raping two classmates outside of school hours in separate incidents.
One of the incidents happened in March after school at the Falls Church City Public Schools secondary campus. This campus consists of Mary Ellen Henderson Middle School and Meridian High School.
The Falls Church City Police Department told Fox 5 DC it has been investigating this attack for two months.

In conducting the investigation, police uncovered the likely reason that the alleged attacker had also sexually assaulted another girl off campus and outside of school hours about a month before the first incident.
According to the police, the accused student was officially charged with aggravated sexual assault and rape.
Falls Church City Public Schools said the accused student was expelled from the school and was barred from returning to campus.

“This is a terrible situation and now is the time to provide services and support to the victims, their families and our community,” Superintendent Peter Noonan said in a letter to the families. “As this is an ongoing legal matter I cannot comment on it; however, the safety of our schools is our top priority.”
The school district said counselors are available for students who need additional support.
Age and other details of the students involved in the incidents are being kept secret while the police are investigating.
