‘Walker Independence’ Justin Johnson Cortez could return on ‘Walker’

Shortly after completing his season 1 run on The CW’s Walker’s independenceJustin Johnson Cortez will guest star in the Mothership series.

Now, during tail end walkerSeason three (which airs Thursdays at 8/7c) will guest-star Cortez as Sonny Alcala, a homicide detective who years ago began working closely with Cordell (Jared Padalecki) and Captain James (Coby Bell).

Per Deadline, which first reported on the casting, Cortez’s role is described as “potentially recurring.” And if so, Detective Alcala might have ties to him, after all Windyis Calian.

Cortez’s first air date is TBA, but that has yet to be renewed walker has five more episodes to air this season, including tonight’s episode.
