“Warrior Nun” showrunner is offering his services for another revival series

In every way the incoming Warrior nun “Revival” does an excellent job of destroying the goodwill created by the initial announcement that confirmed the canceled Netflix favorite would be returning as a full feature trilogy.

The “Halo Bearers” could just about stomach the fact that it was announced that concrete details wouldn’t be revealed until early next year, but two recent developments in particular have done a great job convincing many dedicated followers of the series that the dream is fast approaching a nightmare comes true.

Shockwaves rocked the fan base when showrunner and executive producer Simon Barry revealed that he was in no way involved with the Warrior Nun films, which is admittedly subject to change. Not long after, it emerged that the much-hyped “big announcement” was a painting competition open only to entrants in the United States and Canada, a damp squib if ever there was one.

Barry isn’t going to sit around and wait Warrior nun However, he returns and presents himself as a potential directing candidate for Steven S. DeKnight’s film Spartacus Revival series introduced to the world before the strikes began.

If Barry can’t secure an invite to a revived cult favorite, perhaps attending another is an acceptable substitute. There will be anger in the fandom, should there be Warrior nun V2.0 carries on without his involvement, but there’s no harm in putting out feelers elsewhere until that day comes or not.
