Warzone Update Event Patch Notes Today (May 11th)

The moment the fans have been waiting for is finally here, a brand new update for Call of Duty: Warzone Update deployed today (May 11) marking the start of the Operation Monarch event.

Call of Duty The final event will see a monstrous collaboration as Godzilla and King Kong arrive on Caldera, ready to wreak havoc across the island. Fans will find plenty of new content to jump into including a new mode, killstreak, challenges, rewards and more.

Call of Duty: Warzone Update Patch Notes (May 11)

Below are the official patch notes for September 11th Call of Duty: Warzone Update bringing the brand new Operation Monarch event.

EVENTS

Operation Monarch

Kong and Godzilla have arrived on Caldera.

From May 11th to May 25th, this event offers players a unique opportunity to earn brand new rewards while experiencing Battle Royale in the presence of two legendary monsters.

This event contains 8 main challenges:

• Challenge: Play Operation Monarch for 6 hours
  • Reward: Epic Ancestral Skull Talisman
• Challenge: Use a Kong or Godzilla killstreak once
  • Reward: Rare Ancient Remains Talisman
• Challenge: Use a Kong or Godzilla kill streak 3 times
  • Reward: Rare Monarch Eyes Only charm
• Challenge: Deal 500,000 damage to Titans
  • Reward: Rare Concrete Jungle Emote
• Challenge: Deal 135,000 total damage to Kong in Titan Frenzy Events
  • Reward: Team Godzilla Legendary Emblem
• Challenge: Deal 135,000 total damage to Godzilla in Titan Frenzy Events
  • Reward: Team Kong Legendary Emblem
• Challenge: Collect 3,000 Monarch Intel
  • Reward: Epic Skyline Crasher Calling Card
• Challenge: Twelve times in the top 15
  • Reward: Epic One Will Fall Spray

Complete all eight to earn a special Ancient Rivalry Marksman Rifle Blueprint.

Players can also earn other rewards simply by playing, including talismans, calling cards, and player titles.

MODES

Operation Monarch

This is a 60 player match using a Resurgence ruleset. A smaller section of the caldera is marked as the first safe area, and aside from one massive twist, the rules are simple: be the last team standing.

Key Gameplay Elements:

• Environmental Hazard: Titans
  • Kong and Godzilla will patrol Caldera for the duration of the game, targeting attacks at threats and occasionally going into a frenzied state.

• Public Event: Titan Frenzy
  • Kong and Godzilla can get angry and attack recklessly – what’s called the Titan Frenzy. Operators have two options:
    (1) tactically running away from these dangerous creatures, or
    (2) try to suppress them by dealing direct damage to them
    The squad that deals the most damage to either Titan automatically gets a SCREAM device. Runners-up will still receive Monarch intel, which counts towards their special intel meter, the final reward of which is a SCREAM device.

• Resource: Monarch Intel
  • Players can find Monarch Intel through Supply Boxes, Special Drops, and fallen enemies. Use this to charge up a special gauge that unlocks items like Killstreaks and Loadout Drops, along with a unique and powerful Titan Killstreak reward for fully refilling.

• Killstreak: SCREAM device
  Titan Sonic communications radar and echolocation array module
  • The SCREAM device is a killstreak that grants its user one of two titan powers: a heat ray breath from Godzilla or an earthquake from Kong. Once the attack type is selected, the operator can direct it anywhere in Caldera.
