Was Scandoval staged for the Vanderpump Rules commercial?

We’ve been following the scandal surrounding him Vanderpump Rules‘ Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss since the story broke in March 2023. I mean it was hard not to. From shocking revelations to surprise pop-up appearances, TOO much has happened for us not to notice. And honestly, it still feels surreal.

Think about it. Two co-stars film the entire season secretly banging, which only comes out after the show ends. And to make matters worse, Ariana Madix discovered her boyfriend’s infidelity when she supported him at one of his terribly produced music concerts.

Fan outrage at Tom and Raquel when the story broke was insane. With the finals and reunion just around the corner, I can imagine it’s only going to get worse for them. They haven’t received much sympathy from the audience, but there are some who are willing to take some leniency.

Was Scandoval just a farce? Were we played?

In a new interview with insiderPodcaster Lara Schoenhals said it was “suspicious” that this news came out during the show’s demise.

“They needed something to shake things up and get people’s interest back,” she said. While another podcast host, Hollie Bohorquez, said, “I personally feel like they planned that.”

As a viewer, it’s tiring to step into the shoes of the producer and try to figure out which scenes are well produced and which are the most authentic, and frankly isn’t what the show is about. I’m not the type to discredit an exciting storyline, especially one with that much passion and emotion. But according to these podcasters, we don’t agree.

“So before Scandoval even went broke, they had the filming permits to record with when the cameras went back,” Hollie claimed, explaining that the production is already ready to resume cameras as soon as the world gets word of the affair .

Despite her murmurs, Bravo has confirmed that this storyline was not staged and the episodes were not re-edited.
