‘Wednesday’ tops Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for chart week of December 12th
Harry & Megan rose to #2 in Nielsen’s latest US ranking of streaming originals, while Wednesday maintained first place for a fourth straight week and manifest came in to land.
For the week of December 12th Wednesday has watched 2.16 billion minutes in its eight episodes. The Netflix haunt has accumulated 16.8 billion viewing minutes in the first four weeks of its availability, the second-highest sum for a streaming program (behind stranger thingswhich generated 19.5 billion minutes with the release of Season 4A between May 23 and June 19, 2022).
Netflix Harry & Megan Docuseries rose one spot with 1.7 billion minutes watched across six available episodes, followed by Netflix the recruit (925 million minutes/eight episodes), Firefly Lane (672 million minutes/19 episodes) and Sonic Prime (657 million minutes/eight episodes).
Rounding out the top 10 for the week of December 12 was Netflix Too hot to touch (425 million minutes watched over a total of 39 episodes), Netflix Don’t pick up the phone (400 million minutes/three episodes), Disney+’s The Santas (392 million minutes/six episodes available(), Netflix’s The crown (389 million minutes/50 episodes) and Hulu’s chart debut relationship (361 million minutes/eight episodes).
