What is the best driving game (not racing game)?

I do not have a driving license. I can’t drive a car. People assume I can do this because I like games with cars in them. I don’t bother correcting people anymore because I’m almost 41 years old and I just don’t care. If you have ever imagined me driving a car because you assumed I could drive a car, and that revelation shook you to your core, changed your worldview and your existence on this earth, then I am sorry . To be clear: I have sat in cars, just not driven them. I mostly go for walks.

What a perfect introduction to this week’s Best Games Ever podcast, where we decide (or Jim chooses it with no sense at all) the best driving (non-racing) game. I’ve also never driven in a car, apart from go-karts, which I’ve done several times.

To find out if Jim made the right choice, you’ll need to watch or listen to Episode 72 of The Best Games Ever Podcast, conveniently available on this site!

Special thanks to David Bulmer for the performance of “Jim’s Theme.” And for gaming celebrity Mike Channell of Outside Xbox, who appeared as a guest on the show this week.

“What is the best games show of all time?” you ask? Well, it’s essentially a 30-minute panel discussion where people (Jim Trinca and staff) decide the best game in a particular category. That’s it. That’s good. Listen to it.

Come back in a week for another exciting episode of the Best Games Ever Show.
