Warzone: Operation Monarch game mode explained

Although Operation Monarch will be the name of the two-week event, fans will also find a separate game mode with the same name.

The new limited time mode will be a 60-player quad-only lobby with the Resurgence ruleset also active. According to the call of Duty blog post, a small section of Caldera is marked as the first safe area, and bar one massive twist, the rules are simple: be the last team standing.

Aside from simply surviving, players must find Monarch Intel. The information can be found in supply crates, special drops, and fallen enemies. Collection the Monarch Intel charges a special meter that unlocks items like Killstreaks and Loadout Drops, along with a unique and powerful Titan Killstreak reward for fully refilling.

So what about the big twist of the mode? Well, players have to watch out for Godzilla and King Kong who will wreak havoc across the island. The Giant Titans will also experience the occasional “Titan Frenzy” where both Kong and Godzilla will go berserk and ruthlessly attack players.

The team that deals the most damage to King Kong and Godzilla gets the new SCREAM killstreak. With this special device, the Operatives unleash the incredible power of Godzilla and Kong in battle, allowing players to harness one of two Titan powers: a heat ray breath from Godzilla or a tremor from Kong.
