Whitney Bischoff gives birth to baby #2 with husband Ricky Angel

Bachelor Nation just keeps getting bigger – and cuter – with the expansion Whitney Bischoffis the second baby!
“Where I’ve been … Last year I started documenting our journey with secondary infertility,” Bischoff, 38, wrote via Instagram on Saturday September 2nd with recordings of IVF shots, egg retrieval and doctor visits. “But after three losses and an ectopic pregnancy, I needed a break and needed some time to heal.”
The Bachelor alum – to whom he was briefly engaged Chris Soules after season 19 – announced in retro footage that she and her husband Ricky Angel “Didn’t give up on their dream of expanding their family.” (The couple already share son Hayes, 4.)
“And then… an unexpected miracle,” she continued in her post, sharing pictures of a positive pregnancy test, an ultrasound, and her baby bump. “Brady Carolina, you are more than we ever expected and better than we could have ever imagined.”
Bischoff continued, “Welcome to the world, our sweet angel 🎀!“
The fertility nurse rose to fame as one of the Soules relay contestants The bachelorwhich premiered in January 2015. Soules, 41, eventually proposed to Bischoff during the season finale, but two months later, in May 2015, they called off their engagement.
“I only date occasionally. “I don’t know if I’m looking for a specific person,” Bischoff said exclusively Us weekly the following October of her love life. “I think in general it’s someone who makes me a better person, who makes me happy, who makes me laugh and who has a common interest. So I don’t know if that’s a big stereotype.”
A few weeks earlier, in September 2015, Bischoff had matched Angel through the dating app Bumble. After a year together, Angel popped the question. Us confirmed in October 2017 that they got married at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

The couple announced in February 2019 that they are expecting their first child together. Son Hayes Singleton was born in May. “He definitely has his mother’s Kentucky blood on his Derby Day debut and his father’s great hair and mild temper (for now). 😉),” Bischoff wrote on Instagram at the time. “This angel was truly sent from heaven on the anniversary of my mother’s death – no doubt delivered personally 👼🏻.”
While raising Hayes, the couple struggled to have a second child. Bischoff suffered multiple miscarriages, the last in late 2022.
“The past few weeks have tested me both mentally and physically. After two family health emergencies, my third pregnancy loss in early pregnancy and my first Covid illness, I had to take a break,” she revealed via Instagram in September 2022. “I’ve wondered if it can be for such a difficult group to share an aspect of my life as personal as socializing, but I choose to believe it also allows us to connect with others like ourselves ‘see’.” To all of you reading this who are struggling with uncertainty and fear. I was too. For those praying for a baby, a miracle, or answers. I am also. For those who seek peace in the midst of chaos. I’m with you.”
