The summer of 2022 is (un)officially the summer of Keke Palmer.

The multi-hyphenated star is taking on the small and big screens with a range of roles this year, including her role as presenter of password at NBC and part as Emerald “Em” Haywood in nope.

From a Nickelodeon star to a Primetime Emmy Award winner, Palmer has captured the hearts of fans over the past 18 years and has even been named time the magazine’s Next 100 list (a list of “rising stars who will change the world”) in 2019.

Palmer, whose full name is Lauren Keyana “Keke” Palmer, is 28 years old and was born on August 26, 1993 under her zodiac sign, Virgo. Palmer grew up with her family in Harvey, Illinois.

Her many acting roles include TV shows such as scream queens, master of sex, Grey’s anatomy and Unsure. On the big screen, Palmer appeared in the critically acclaimed film hustlers 2019 alongside Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu before signing on for Jordan Peele’s latest thriller, nope.

In addition to an illustrious acting resume, Palmer has also had a successful music career. So far she has released two albums, So uncool (2007) and Big boss (2022) and three EPs; Lauren (2016), Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 1 (2019) and Virgo Tendencies, Pt. 2 (2020).

Palmer is also a successful television presenter and has hosted her own talk show Just cookies (2014) as well as co-hosting the talk show Strahan, Sara and Keke from 2019 to 2020. She is currently seen hosting password on NBC.

LC, 33, confirmed her celebrity connection to viewers on the August 1 episode of the ABC show, but her co-stars are currently in the dark about her true identity, meaning she’s still in the running for the $100,000 reward to take home.

Keke spoke about her sister’s run on the show ET: “I live for her to be there claim to fame, I mean, she gives everything. I’m so proud of her. You know, everyone in my family is a real character, and obviously she’s my older sister, so I got a lot of what you see and know as me from her. So I’m very excited.”
