Who is Nugget Gulati in EastEnders?

Born Davinder Gulati, ‘Nugget’ was introduced to BBC One viewers as the son of hunky gangster Ravi Gulati (played by Aaron Thiara).

He made his Walford debut on August 9, 2022, a month after his on-screen father made his first appearance on the long-running program when he saw fellow Albert Square star Amy Mitchell walking down Bridge Street.

Since his first appearance, Nugget has been portrayed by Juhaim Rasul Choudhury.

Nugget had a difficult start in life, being the product of a one-night stand.

While Ravi, who was her drug dealer at the time, never wanted to become a father, Nugget’s mother fought to have the child.

However, three weeks after Nugget’s birth, he was left on Ravi’s doorstep and raised by his grandfather Ranveer Gulati.

For several years, Nugget believed that Ranveer was his biological grandfather and had no idea that he had connections to the Panesar family.

But last year, in a shocking twist, it was revealed that Ravi was the son of Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), making him the biological grandfather of businessman Nugget.

Aside from his early life with his absent father and grandfather, Nugget’s life prior to his move to Walford remained shrouded in mystery, particularly because details about his mother were never revealed.

The matter was finally resolved on Monday, October 16, 2023.

Who is Nugget Gulati’s mother in EastEnders?

After finding out that Ravi had murdered his grandfather Ranveer, Nugget decided to escape from Albert Square and was missing for several weeks.

His father Ravi was sick with fear and the police quickly joined the search for Nugget.

Little did Ravi know that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) knew what Nugget was up to.

Things finally turned positive on Monday’s episode of the program, which aired in London, when Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) informed Ravi that Nugget had been spotted.

Ravi later overheard Suki getting an address during a mysterious phone call and quickly blurted out that she knew where his son was.

While Nish was convinced that his wife would not have betrayed them in such a way, he soon felt humiliated when Suki confessed the truth.

The businessman insisted on finding Nugget with Ravi, but when they broke into the apartment where he was hiding, the boy insisted he wanted nothing to do with his father.

But the biggest shock came for Ravi when Priya Nandra-Hart stormed into the room to defend her son, claiming she would never leave him again, and her ass made her an instant fan favorite.
