Why Culver Bradbury should have been fired, not Adam Kodra

If you’re convinced, Captain Jason Chambers fired the wrong deckie Below Deck Down Under, you are right here. In a recent episode of the nautical show, fans said goodbye to Adam Kodra. Culver Bradbury slipped through the skin of his teeth. Culver is funny at times, good looking and always up for a laugh. But it still feels like he should have been the one to walk the plank. Below are some reasons why we think the captain made a complete mistake.
Culver is lazy
Whether it’s the producers messing with viewers or the fact this culver Though actually a bit sluggish, the Maryland native comes across as extremely ruthless when it comes to earning his paycheck. Honestly, he probably eats the yacht away and home like Chefy secretly slips the food to him.
In a recent episode, Culver groaned at a direct order from Captain Jason. He acted as if the thought of practical work was beneath his dignity. However, if Culver isn’t doing his part, why didn’t the other sailors take him to task for such behavior?
Protein Freakout
Culver is He can often be seen sipping food around the kitchen like a chipmunk preparing for winter. At least once per episode, Culver is caught eating in the team mess or taking long breaks in hopes of a five-course meal.
It didn’t help that he recently threw a meal replacement tantrum because he wasn’t able to find his shaker and mix his drink fast enough before he was supposed to be back at work. The job of a deckhand is demanding. If you’re that concerned about your protein deficiency, you should certainly work at a gym.
Culver screwed it up too
Adam could very well have been saved, even if he himself was responsible for the dangerous anchor drop. The Brooklyn native learned and took responsibility for things he didn’t know. João Franco was ready and able to take Adam under his wing.
on the downside, Culver in the truest sense of the word answers nobody. Every time João points out a lackluster job or lack of initiative, Culver freaks out and turns into a three-year-old. Attempting to lift the tender back into the yacht, Culver was the one behind the engine gears, resulting in Captain Jason being thrown flat on his backside.
That too was a dangerous situation since he had the settings set to high. Not only did it damage the boat, but Culver is said to be the one with experience, so there’s no excuse.
Culver mingles
Some fans say Culver should got fired a long time ago because he thinks he’s a guest on some charter flights. A few times, Culver has acted as if he were a charter guest. Recently he carried a porn star on his shoulders. While Culver is a sweet sight to behold, there’s a time and place for activities like chicken fights, poolside frat parties for example, not luxury charters. It’s easy to mingle with people, but doing physical labor isn’t so much.
Culver has a keen eye for dealing with guests. There’s no denying that he’s always willing to interact with them in the name of big tips. However, he lacks professionalism. The simple fact that Captain Jason Culver asked to fill in as bosun, resulting in a lackluster job, says it all. Unable to give clear instructions, Culver again took advantage of his position, sneaking away for additional breaks.
Like many Greek gods before him, Achilles and his heel, Narcissus and his reflection, Culver seems a bit out of his league. João’s words definitely ring true: “Culver can’t screw things up because he doesn’t do anything.”
