Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro: design, specifications and price leaked; Might get a 1.43 inch round display
The Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is reportedly in the works as the smartwatch renders and specs were recently leaked. The alleged smartwatch is expected to be launched in October. Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed any details yet, but a recent report suggests that the upcoming Xiaomi watch could feature a circular, rotating watch face with an AMOLED display. In addition, the smartwatch should also be equipped with a rotating crown button in addition to two other buttons. It was recently said that Xiaomi is also working on the Watch S3, which could launch in China later this year.
According to a report by MySmartprice citing a source, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is set to launch next month in October. Like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, the wearable is said to have a circular, rotating dial. It is said to have a rotating crown and two more buttons. In addition, the watch is said to have a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with HD resolution and always-on display function.
The report also suggests that the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will come in both Bluetooth and 4G LTE versions. It could offer body composition analysis, sleep monitoring and SpO2 tracking, as well as multiple sports modes.
In addition, the expected price, availability and color options of the watch have also been leaked. It’s rumored to come in two colorways – one with a brown leather strap, while the other is said to come with a black fluoroplastic strap. According to the renderings, the former can be seen with a steel finish, while the latter could come with a black gunmetal finish. The smartwatch could be launched at the end of October and is expected to cost around 400 euros (about 35,640 rupees).
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also been tipped to launch the rumored Xiaomi Watch S3 in China later this year. The watch’s specs have been leaked on Weibo and suggest a large OLED display, a 520mAh battery and support for 4G connectivity. It was also recommended to have different sport modes and to offer blood oxygen monitoring as well as heart rate monitoring.
